Not those kinds of things," he tacked on quickly. "But about me." It almost stuck in his throat, and he was surprised how dry and thick his tongue felt against the roof of his mouth. It wasn't as if he hadn't told Elle months ago, but Elle... had been through crazier shit than most people he knew. She was used to strangeness. Hell, her whole life was strange.
