45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
18. Did you enjoy school?
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?

45. Yeah, I can. I think you know that. But killing regular old people isn't something to be taken lightly. We kill a lot of things, monsters, demons, you name it. Things that are just evil.

18. Hell no. I hated it. We went from one school to another all the time, and it was never what was important to me. I mean, the education that mattered in my eyes was the stuff our dad was teaching us about hunting. The stuff I was actually going to use. Learning the rest was just a cover. School was a great place to pick up chicks though.

61. No. I don't know. I mean, I can't imagine doing that anytime soon, but I've thrown the idea around before. Y'know, someone to carry on the Winchester family name.

15. Not normal. Jumping from hotel to hotel, traveling all around the continental U.S., practically raising my little brother. I knew what Dad did since I was little kid, y'know, thought he was a superhero. We never got coddled or anythin' like that. I mean, I was an 8 year old kid, who knew monsters under the bed were real. Never worried about the usual kid stuff, teen stuff, just... weird shit, like the best way to kill a werewolf.

16. When I was six or seven, dad took me out to shoot a gun for the first time. I bullseyed every single bottle. It's one of my best memories of Dad.

50. Yeah, I pretty much can't stand any angel or demon I meet, on sight.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2010-02-16 02:49 pm (UTC)(link)
45. I do, but that was the question I got. So you don't think people can be truly evil? That's interesting.

18. I'm not surprised.

15. Would it sound really weird if I said I was... a little envious of that?

50. Castiel seems alright.

[identity profile] likedillinger.livejournal.com 2010-02-16 02:52 pm (UTC)(link)
45. Well, some of the things I'm classifyin' as monsters are arguably people. But I think once people reach a certain point, they can become monsters.

15. You sound like one of those cosplayers when you say that.

50. Yeah, I didn't like him at first either. But he's the exception to the rule.

[identity profile] intuitivelyapt.livejournal.com 2010-02-16 02:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Good to know.

It's not so much that you got to... hunt werewolves or whatever, you just always knew that you were different. Someone special. And at least you had a father.

21. Well, it was me, my Dad and Sammy. I always looked up to my dad, did anything he ever asked, because he was my hero. I respected him, and followed orders, and felt honored to be his kid.

Sammy, I pretty much raised though, because we traveled so much and Dad was always working. So I've always felt responsible for him, like I gotta look out for him, y'know?

25. Like I said, we moved a lot, so it's not like we really had the time to make friends anywhere. It was pretty much just us. Though, I mean, I didn't have a problem meeting people where we did go.

14. I'm just too attractive. I'm sure it annoys somebody.

29. Well, it'd be pretty ironic to say my death. Uh, the day my Dad charged me with protecting Sammy's sort of held a lot of sway over everything. For a lot of reasons.

49. I sort of hate that whole feeling crap, so I do what I can to avoid that, either by just telling people straight out to cut it out, or making it into a joke. And I don't need everybody knowin' what I'm thinkin', either.

65. On a grand scale, I could say Lucifer, I guess, since he's sort of behind a lot of what's happened to me and Sam. But the angels, Michael and company, they aren't much better. And on a personal level, Alastair and Ruby, two demons, were pretty far up on my list, but they're gone now. Pretty much most of the heaven and hell crew.

99. Awesome. Badass. Batman.

3. Dad: John Winchester. Dad served in the Marines as a corporal, in Vietnam, and then he was a mechanic, which is when he met mom. When mom died, he became a hunter, trying to track down the thing that killed her, and learning everything he had to about evil creatures on the way.

I don't know how to describe Dad, exactly, because he's always been larger than life to me. He's a soldier, through and through, and he expects a lot from people, expects their best. Everything that happened with mom... changed him, made something darker in him, but he still always had a plan, y'know? He was a smart guy, in all the ways that matter for our line of work. He kept a lot of things to himself though, close to his chest, but he loved us, loved his family, more than anything else, and what he did, he did for us. He's my hero.

Mom: Mary Winchester. Mom was born into a family of hunters, actually. It's uh, complicated what happened, but the demon who later killed her, killed her parents too. And Dad, but that's a long story. Our family's made too many deals with demons. She was tough, real tough. You didn't mess with her, or the people she loved. She left the hunting stuff behind when she married my dad, but ... it caught up to her.

7. I'll give you my police record, how about?
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 175 lbs.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green
Race: Caucasian
Sammy and I have matching tattoos (http://winchester-journals.net/lore/images/symbols_tattoo.jpg), to ward against possession.
And I usually wear jeans, and my jacket, t-shirt, used to wear an amulet, but I've given it to Cas, because it's apparently an EMF for God. And there's a ring I usually wear.

28. Everything from Mom's death on has turned me into who I am today. Dad's training. Countless hunts. Everything that's happened between me and Sam. Dyin'. Cas. Getting treated like a pinball between demons and angels.

29. Seeing as how it'd be pretty ironic to say my death, uh, the day my Dad charged me with protecting Sammy's sort of held a lot of sway over everything. For a lot of reasons.

46. Take somebody's else's free will from them. It's a touchy subject for us.

77. Hunting, drinking, spending it with a chick, researching for a hunt, one of those.

3. Your mom sounds really nice. I wish I could have met her.

7. ... An EMF for God? I've seen Sam's tattoo and he told me you had one too -- where's yours?

29. Would I be prying if I asked the reasons?

46. I think that's actually a really good answer even ... you know. Angels and stuff notwithstanding. Sylar can do that with his telekinesis, and it's probably the most terrifying frustrating thing I can think of.

[identity profile] likedillinger.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)
3. You woulda liked her.

7. On my chest. Upper left. And yeah, it uh, signals God's presence. Cas has been lookin' for God, so I let him have it.

29. Not prying, just... Y'know, I had to practically become a parent as a kid, raising Sam, because I took my dad's orders pretty damn seriously. Everything was always about lookin' out for him. That's why when he left us, it stung like a bitch, I mean, I always did everything for him and then he just up and quit.

Even when we got together again, so many of the decisions I made were to protect him. I don't know if you know about this part, about why I even died in the first place.

It was because Sam died. I made a deal with Hell to bring him back, and take me instead a year later.

[identity profile] autophoenix.livejournal.com 2010-02-18 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Sam told me about how you practically raised him. That's ... I'm sorry. You had to grow up really fast, and that's not really fair to you. But, you did a really good job of it. From what I hear.

Sam only ... he only kind of mentioned you going to Hell to bring him back, a long time ago.

You're a really incredible person, Dean. I hope you know that. I ... You always manage to amaze me, even after I think you can't get much better than you already are.

56. Sammy, Cas, Bobby, Jo, both you Claires, Sylar grudgingly. I don't know, various people here and there. It's not like I stick around anywhere long enough to make lots of friends.

As for my best friend, Sammy's the obvious answer, but I think since he's my brother, that might not count. I guess non-family, Cas is my best friend. I mean the guy put me back together after everything that happened to me down there, and he's stuck with me through everything since, even when it meant standing up to his angel brethren. There's still a lot he doesn't understand about people, but I find it funny most of the time. And I really like that he doesn't ever waste my time on crap, or get all emotional. With Cas, it's all business, and that's what I'm comfortable with.

94. Y'know what, I really don't like this fucking question.

Let's just say I'm hoping to be alive, having averted the end of the world, and drinking a beer with some hot chick, knowing none of my friends are dead.

51. Say yes to Michael? Maybe it's just plain stubbornness, but I refuse to believe their way is the best way. No matter what. And I have a feeling if I did say yes, it'd just pave the way for Sammy to say yes to Lucifer and I can't even... yeah. Anyways.

44. Like you don't know. In case you missed my earlier lecture on why everything is about sex, I'll give you the Cliff's Notes. It's fun, it's stress relief, it gets a person's mind off the whole world ending thing, and did I mention? It's fun. I love women, every breed of attractive woman, and they all have something different to offer in bed. It's probably not a secret that I don't connect sex and love, but I'll let you in on something: most guys can separate the two, and most chicks can't. It's just a fact.

64. Been there, done that. Sam and Bobby. Cas now, too, and the Claires.

58. ... [We're going to imagine that he can't lie for this, or he might not actually talk about it] ... Once. Her name was Cassie, and we were ... together for a couple weeks. It got pretty serious. I mean, for me. I ended up telling her who I was, and she freaked out, thought I was trying to get rid of her, or that I was psycho or something. We met up again down the road, but she didn't think it was realistic to expect anything more from what we had, so. That was that.

53. Politeness is overrated. I'm pretty blunt, I guess. And I tend to keep everyone at a distance until I really know them, and that's a pretty damn small circle.
