likedillinger: (| what the crap?!)
Dean gets cupcakes from Meredith across space/time.  Thanks to Hiro.

Dean gives Elle a call so they can talk about what happened, and what she said when she drunk-dialed him.  They both agree to not just push each other away, but to veer away from the drama, however possible.

After catching Cas praying to God for guidance, Dean tries to comfort him, in his own... Dean-like way.

Dean hits on Candice, the shape-shifter, and... it's assumed they had sex, because the mun's are lazy bastards.

Dean tries to assure Claire that Sylar's opinion on her sex life doesn't count (and inadvertently lets on that Sam told him they did it).

This descends into a fight, however, when Claire calls Dean old and then he hurts her overly sensitive feelings.  Sam defends Claire, and Other-Claire suggests that her and Dean go drinking, which he happily takes her up on to get away from Drama Central.

Not pictured: Dean and Other-Claire end up at a bar, where he gets incredibly sloshed trying to keep up with her, and ends up abandoning her to a bunch of college frat boys, to go have sex with some chick, whose name no one can remember.  However, her roommate's unexpectedly home, so they try to have sex against the back of her building (note try, he was really drunk, ok), and then a car pulls up, and it's her parents, apparently there to visit her at like.... 6am or whatever, so she tells Dean to run, and he tries to find the bar.  But he can't.  So he ends up ... walking down the freeway, at some ridiculous hour of the morning.  Wearing sunglasses.

At which point, he drunk-dials Sylar, who tells him about why Claire can never drunk.  Too bad he won't remember this later.  Sylar tries to warn Dean, a little too subtly for his drunk ass, that Peter is coming to South Dakota to kill Sam, after having found out he slept with his niece.  Dean... totally misses this point, and then a mack truck comes barreling towards him, and he jumps over the median.  His phone falls to the concrete and disconnects, and Dean ends up in a ditch, with his back hurting like a bitch.  Sylar... thinks Dean might be dead or something.

[Passed out in a ditch somewhere]

In which:

    +
Sylar tracked Dean's cell phone signal, and he & Peter find him in the ditch.  Once he's sure Dean's actually alive, he's not worried anymore, and figures it'll be better to leave him there, instead of letting him get in the way of Peter's plan to beat the snot out of Sam.  Sylar also talks Peter into letting him call Bobby and get him out of the house.  They leave Dean in the ditch.
+ Other-Claire manages to find Dean, and even though he abandoned her at the bar, she's there for him.  What a bro.
+ Jimmy Novak gives Dean a lecture on binge-drinking, but helps out too.
+ Sam helps Dean gets home.

Sam wonders where Bobby is, but Dean just tells him to shut up, and holes himself up in bed with his hangover and the laptop.

Best hangover cures?

Beyond "stop drinking".

  In which:

+ Dean is incredulous when Claire offers hangover cures, since she never seems to get them.
+ Dean tells Cas about his night, and Castiel makes him feel genuinely guilty over doing what he did.  Then Cas spills the beans about the girl's regenerative powers affect on their drinking skills, and he plots revenge by convincing Cas to challenge Claire to a drinking contest.  The puppy eyes get him
+  Tess psycho-analyzes Dean, and hits a little too close to him.  He's too hungover for this shit.
+  Elle offers her suggestion, and they talk about when they might see each other again.
+ Other-Claire gives Dean grief about leaving her at the bar.  But it's all in good humor.  She also tells him her secret weakness.
+ Ryan suggests cheeseburgers, and Dean tells him not to listen to other Deans.
      + Amy is adorable.  Ffft.
      + Carmen plays nurse.
      + Nisha suggests tea.
+ Sam tells Dean to stop bitching and sleep it off, and then makes him promise not to abandon Other-Claire again.
+ Buffy expresses concern that Bobby's missing.  Dean's not worried.
      + Tessa suggests carrots.
+ Other-Sam says he'll drive so Dean can sleep it off.
+ Mello gives Dean too much advice at once.
+ Sylar comes into Dean's room to distract him while Peter beats up Sam across the house, and gives him a beer.  He covers for all the weird noises in the other room, while Dean tells him about what happened last night.  When Sylar leaves, Dean just... falls asleep.

So what'd I miss yesterday, anyway?

  In which:

+ Dean wakes up and... finds Sam, all beat up.  Sam tells him what Peter did and said, and Dean gets pissed off, but tells Sam not to listen to anything he told him.  There's an adorable brother-hug in here too.
+ Dean confronts Sylar about what happened.  Sylar, not wanting Dean to come try to beat up Peter, tells him that it was all his fault, and so... Dean gets murderously angry at him and threatens to find a way to kill him.  When Sylar threatens him back, Castiel jumps down his throat.  And Other-Claire also defends Dean.
+ Claire and Dean plot Sylar's death.  A little too publically, oops.
+ Molly baffles Dean.  Entirely.  With her summary of events, from her point of view.
+ Castiel demands to know what's up and decides to take care of this situation himself.
+ Other-Claire tells Dean how she got him, and they talk about meeting up again, but realize it would probably be hard on Sam.  He tells her she can always call him.

--------

In retaliation for what happened, Claire outs Sylar & Peter.  Dean is horrified.

Dean suggests to Sam that they leave all this behind and go on a hunt.  Sam agrees to get Bobby to look into information that might lead them towards finding the Angel of Death.
